damn stupid with the basis

i dun want say much but bit dissapointed with myself.. after i taught my sis to paint, it made me recalled my 'time' in primary.. secondary.. n even upper secondary (most memorable time) about studying basis of this stuff! so i tried to do one of the technique on how to make a tree! so, roll down n see..

step 1: apply basic colour (which mean the lightest)

step 2: apply 2 layer with a darker one ( just a BIT darker than the previous colour)

step 3: apply third tone (darker than the 2nd one)

step 4: (which i made mistake n i spoilt it) apply the darkest and make it really fine bunch of leaves (not like wut i did) T.T

lesson: i hate when it comes to basic.. i love applying.. =)

after realised the painting i made that day which was supposed to be BUAH TEMPATAN is wrong (out of what is required by the question), so i made a little change. i 'removed' apples and replaced them with mangosteen.. easy rite? but unfortunately, me, as a purely malaysian, not sure how it looks like (very pity with myself.. T.T), so i googled n found this..

yeah.. so there u are.. haha ( bukan xtau ok but lupa sikit) =P

to make it balance, i added another one.. with the fleshes..

adding colour.

blend and add some more colours...

add shades under the fruits.. XD but tis one is really rough..

purposely colour the watermelon behind them.. (gatal tangan)

ok tats all! i guess i have to practise a lot.. T.T (lama tak buat semua ni) -school age memories

extra entry: they arent mine but i still wanna post them! i adore this kinda arts.. n hopefully i may learn it one day.. (even aku tau tak akan) takde masa okay, izzah!

yes, on one tipical night.. my lil sister came to me and gave me this thing,

and i was like.. ''so??''.. she grinned and asked me to choose what topic of drawing she should choose.. yeah she wanted me to SUGGEST.. i asked her whether she wanted a simple question or a more challenging question n she didnt mind so..........

i chose the 4th question which is, ''hasilkan sebuah catan menunjukkan buah-buahan tempatan. Buah-buahan itu terletak di atas sebuah peti kayu.''

i asked when is the exam day? ''it's next week'' n i said, ''lets practise! haha'' (even thou i never did this during my school age) XD

we started with basic, i asked her to draw (the sketching) n guess what? she had no idea at all.. what the heck? it was just buah-buahan! n for sure we used to draw them since we were in kindergaten! (iznt it??? -.-) i took out all my things n start the 'tutorial' at the dining room..

my 'life'.. (oh please! =P)

ok, so i drew.. i mean, i sketched for her n thought she would colour it HERSELF but then, end up i started colouring n of course i finished it.. XD haha kiddin! i started n what i was trying to do was, trained her blend the water colour n emphasized on what n which part to make darker or lighter.. (shading).. so lets follow up the 'tutorial'! =D

can u believe that?? my sister made it! (but 90% assisted by ME) XD

yeah.. messy.. but it's normal for EVERY process of making art..

i demonstrated the RED apple.. then she followed with the GREEN one.. nice what? kan?

hmm still messy.. but ok lah! she just started isnt it? she's forgiven! XD (it happened to me thou.. -.-')

yeay, it's done!! well done sis! (n of course it was touched-up by ME! =P) especially the shading part..

she tried to make it again WITHOUT my help..

ANGEL FROM THE EAST.. hehe

first step! throw all the colours u like! on the drawing blocks or plain sheet of cotton or what ever u want.. (i used 4 drawing blocks and combined them together)

n yes, it will look messy and thats what i like about colour n paint.. next, enhanced the colours.. by shading and touch ups..

like that ok lar... then, start sketch the object u want to put in.. like mine, i planned to put an angel in it.. =) (preferably free-hand sketching) so it will look smooth and natural..

for the tree's branches, i started from the angle of the drawing block.. u can start from centre too.. it doesnt really matter..

then, complete the branches and make it like 'packed' and occupied in the drawing block. to be more artistic, draw some exotic flowers about 2 or 3 would be enough..

 but seeing ur arts done like tis, it wont give u satisfaction! ceh... hehe for me, anything u like and u made it, u have to appreciate it.. so like i usually do, i will frame it..
